Morning,
Sorry to interrupt your Saturday, especially on such a nice day - that's why I'm sending this!
I'd originally planned to send this email towards the end of next month, but as we are due to have some really nice weather over the next few weeks, I thought we should bring the launch forward.
It's going to be warm. Not "might get a bit mafting" warm. Properly warm.
Which brings me to this.
Because someone had to solve the "what do I wear under my waders in Summer" problem.
We've just launched our Casting Shirt - a lightweight, long-sleeved shirt designed specifically to be worn under your waders. Not over them. Under them.
Why long sleeves in summer?
Because you're either under waders (in which case a t-shirt does nothing for your arms) or you're not - in which case long sleeves in a proper lightweight fabric are genuinely cooler than bare skin in full sun, and they stop the midges treating your forearms like an all-you-can-eat buffet.
I've been fishing in lightweight long-sleeved shirts for years. It just took me a while to find, and make, one worth selling.
What makes it different?
It's light. Properly light. The kind of light that disappears under your waders without bunching, riding up, or making you feel like you're wrapped in a bin bag.
It's stone-washed, which means it's already been through more than most fishing shirts you own - softer out of the box, and it'll only get better with wear.
And because we couldn't resist, it comes printed with Ryan's trout flank artwork. Same designs as on the fly boxes, t-shirts & hoodies - Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brook Trout.
It's the only casting shirt we know of that looks this good just hanging on the peg - and that's completely invisible the moment you pull your waders on (it also looks great in the pub - I've tested that thoroughly).
Which is either wonderful or deeply ironic, depending on how you look at it.
Available in: sizes XS to 3XL
Printed here. By us. In North Yorkshire.
Same process as the t-shirts & hoodies - made to order, checked by hand, packed without plastic. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. When your order comes in, we make it.
It takes a little longer. It's worth it.
Get yours before the warm weather does →
Tight lines.

P.S. The Brook Trout design on the Stone Washed White shirt looks absolutely stunning - to be honest, it looks better in the pub than it does on the water!
P.P.S. A Quick Note on Dispatch Times: Because our Casting Shirts are printed to order, there may be a slight delay before dispatch. But trust us, when you open the parcel, you’ll see (and feel) why it was worth the wait.
